The Chesapeake Knights consists of seven tackle football teams (and associated cheer squads). There are varying weight and age restrictions on each of the teams but generally cover the ages of 5 through 13 with varying max weight cut-offs. Team weight limits range from 35 lbs to140 lbs for our oldest boys. In 2008, our Pee Wee Team won the Southeastern Virginia Division III Championship Game and our Junior Pee Wee Squad won the Southeastern Virginia and Mid-South Division III Championship Games (see pictures page!!). Also in 2008, our Mitey Mite 1 team had a 6-2 record and won the Olive Branch Invitational Bowl Game! And finally, our Tiny Mite 1 team earned a 6-2-1 record! Great Job to All.

The formal name of our organization is the Southern Chesapeake Football Association (SCFA). Our goal is to implant in the youth of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and courage. This will enable our next generation of community leaders to be well adjusted, strong, happy, healthy and trustworthy citizens.On February 7th, 2007 our organization officially aligned with the Pop Warner Little Scholars organization- the largest Youth Football and Cheer organization in the nation. We fully support their vision of linking scholastic achievement with athletics in a safe playing environment and believe that the players, parents and community will all benefit from this formal relationship.
